I thought this had to be an April Fools Joke when I came across what Kentucky Fried Chicken is calling the Double Down.  After doing a little digging, it’s 100% real.  KFC even has a webpage, commercial and countdown timer for it’s launch here.

“This one-of-a-kind sandwich features two thick and juicy boneless white meat chicken filets (Original Recipe® or Grilled), two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel’s Sauce. This product is so meaty, there’s no room for a bun!”

I’m going out on a limb and betting that this thing won’t help any of you avoid the freshman 15.  If you decide to try this monster, drop a comment and let us know what you think.
